I return to my archive of negatives of thirty years. Sometimes, I remove the image entirely from its base and use it to produce new material. So, my archives become both subject matter and pigment. In this set of drawings called The Ear, the remnants of the negative and artifacts are used. Nothing goes to waste. An application of forgetting.
